For some of you, history is uninteresting and boring, but for others, it’s pretty darn cool. Well, regardless of your stance towards history, you should definitely check out this awesome discovery.
In WWII, they had many bunkers made as an emergency defense against bombs, and that’s exactly what was found at this construction site. Lying around hidden for probably at least 70+ years, this shelter has finally seen the light again, and many history buffs are eager to take a look, much like the creator of this video.
What’s even crazier is how rare these things are. Especially this long of a time after the war, WWII bomb shelters are super hard to find, as most have been destroyed or rebuilt as attractions or museums. So it’s a really lucky and really cool discovery, not to mention an interesting bit of a history lesson. Next time you catch wind of any new WWII discoveries nearby, maybe go take a look. You could learn something, plus it’s just all around neat to see.
