Who said that the only bow and arrows you’ll come across would be the typical sleek, modern, metal ones you find at your average hunting store? This is a great survival alternative if you don’t have your bow with you or run out of arrows.
If you’re out in the wild with no arrows left but in need of one quick, or just want a cool new arrow design, then you’ll definitely want to see this. A survival recipe for arrows, made by only items you can easily find around you in the wilderness. These arrows may not be top of the line, but they’re tough enough to get the job done when needed.
You’ll need a rock comprised of at least some obsidian, another rock for smashing/sharpening, and something else able to more finely sharpen the sides of the obsidian, such as an antler, which this guy uses. With just these materials, you can create obsidian arrowheads for yourself quite easily. Just be aware this is a lengthy process, not some 5-minute trick. Don’t worry, because it’ll definitely be worth it if you’re in a pinch.
